How we think about this
Every strategy goes through historical backtesting, out-of-sample validation against data it has never seen, and realistic cost modeling — before it's ever considered ready for real capital.
Non-negotiable rules ahead of any strategy logic: mandatory stop-losses on every position, strict per-trade risk limits, and a daily loss limit that halts trading outright. Capital preservation comes before returns, always.
Every decision the system makes — and the reasoning behind it — is logged and auditable. Nothing about how it trades is a black box, to us or, eventually, to the community it's built for.
